Led by Sant Ambroeus’ culinary director Iacopo Falai, the menu is designed in reciprocity with our stateside locations, offering classics of our New York City Sant Ambroeus menus alongside dishes created specifically for our guests in Milan. The wine menu focuses on Italian producers while including options from France and the United States, and presents a variety of biodynamic and natural options. The cocktail menu balances classic cocktails and contemporary options informed by our stateside mixology programs.

Originally opened in 1936, the restaurant was reimagined in 2022 by the interior design firm of Fabrizio Casiraghi. Using traditional Milanese materials, he created an authentic space that celebrates the history of the city while modernizing the restaurant. In the intimate main dining room with soaring ceilings, guests dine under the 12 Crests of Lombardia.

The day at Sant Ambroeus begins early in the morning with a breakfast that pays tribute to Italian tradition, extending to an intercontinental offering that also includes healthy options.

Lunch features an à la carte menu as well as a menu of sandwiches and panini for those who want a quick snack. The afternoon snack is a special moment dedicated to pastries.

With the arrival of the evening, the ritual of the aperitivo begins, a prelude to dinner and after-dinner, where you can enjoy an excellent wine or a cocktail selected from a wide and refined menu.
