Sant Ambroeus French Toast
- 2 slices of Sant Ambroeus Panettone
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- Maple Syrup
In a small bowl, combine cinnamon,sugar and vanilla Whisk together cinnamon mixture, eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla and pour into a shallow container such as a pie plate.
Dip the slices of Panettone in the egg mixture.
Melt butter over medium heat in a medium sized pan.
Fry slices until golden brown, then flip to cook the other side. Serve with maple syrup.
