Upon entering Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Sotheby’s, art enthusiasts and culinary connoisseurs are instantly transported to a one-of-a-kind café experience that merges design, art, innovative cuisine and unmatched hospitality, representing the best in Italian traditions and imported from Sant Ambroeus’ roots in Milan. A destination in itself, Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Sotheby’s enhanced with an outdoor terrace, allowing diners to enjoy views of Manhattan’s Upper East Side architecture.
To complement the espresso and cappuccino bar offerings and take-out concept, the Sant Ambroeus menu will feature warm pressed Panini, such as Madunina with veal cotoletta, rucola, tomato and Dijion mustard, and Sant Ambroeus’ beloved desserts, pastries and croissants, including Sant Ambroeus’ signature chocolate mousse cake and Gianduia, crafted with hazelnut sponge, hazelnut wafer, hazelnut cream gianduia mousse and milk chocolate glaze. Guests can also enjoy a selection of the brand’s celebrated savory Paninetti, soft home-baked rolls with a delicate crust perfumed with olive oil, and Le Focaccine, a flaky and slightly salted interpretation of Focaccia. As at other Sant Ambroeus locations, the irresistible sweets and coffee are available for purchase and enjoyment at, or away from, Sant Ambroeus.
