Situated on York Avenue on the Upper East Side, the coffee bar honors the aesthetic of Italian coffee bars of the 1950s. The space features walls and columns clad in rich mahogany paneling with delicate fluted details. Custom Murano glass pendants adorn the bar, while vintage leaf-shaped sconces softly illuminate the wood columns. The floors, composed of deep chocolate brown, cream, and pale pink marble tiles, are inspired by the geometric patterns of Gio Ponti.

The York Ave coffee bar serves full espresso and cappuccino offerings, as well as warm pressed Paninis, salads, and Sant Ambroeus’ beloved pastries and desserts, including the hazelnut sponge cake Gianduia and Tiramisù. Afternoon and evening hours offer a menu of delectable cocktails and wines by the glass.
